Rest in Peace Capital i
it is with great sadness that i announce the death of the capitalized letter i when used in a sentence.
it seems that it died of a broken heart since no one cares to use it anymore in their day-to-day email correspondance.
The capitalized letter i leaves behind a great legacy of legibility. However, it is survived by other letters who thrive on title and sentence case. A celebration of its capitalization will take place in the academic world.
May it forever be remembered for the peace of mind it brought to those who use visual cues to separate subjects from verbs.
Amen
